I dictated a review, and the page was rebuilt from it
Before, my review, after: the review part is a reproduction, made after the fact from what was saved.

I keep a page that works as a running changelog of my own tools, and one day I reviewed it by voice. The next day it came back rebuilt from what I said. This clip shows the page before, my review and the page after, and the review part is a reproduction made afterwards from what was saved.
What you're watching
Before. The page as it stood when I reviewed it, frozen from a saved copy. Three views I criticised: the arcs of work in flight, which came first and read as walls of text; the chart of how the map composed itself, small and halfway down; and the list of skills that change together, in a panel of its own at the end.
My review. The decision page that asked for my verdict, served from its saved copy, with my answer going into a sandbox so nothing reaches the real one. I pick the two answers I gave, then my notes are typed back in as I dictated them. They were spoken, not typed, so they read a little loosely; typing them would have taken far longer. The typing is sped up five times and the voice drops out while it runs, apart from one passage that is slowed down and highlighted: the sentence where my notes ask for this very video. I pasted seven screenshots; six appear here, each where I pasted it. The sixth one I pasted is left out because it shows infrastructure that is not mine to show, so the page numbers my seventh as the sixth.
After. The same page the next day, rebuilt from those notes and frozen the same way. The chart now opens the page, and the skills that change together became small badges on it. The arcs became short cards under one tab per lane. A full record reads as formatted prose. And the page itself went from about 10 MB to about 3 MB.
The decision page saves everything about an answer: the text, the choices, the images and where in the text each image was pasted. That record is enough to replay the review, and the replayed note matches what I submitted character for character, apart from the one screenshot left out. The same record is what the rebuild worked from, so the before and after are tied to specific things I said. The notes also ask for this very demonstration.
The last few seconds close the loop. My notes mention a similar video I had just asked for. It exists now: it is the first card of this portfolio.
What doesn't come across on video: the pace. Dictating those notes and pasting the screenshots took far longer than it looks here, and the rebuild in between took a day of work. Both pages are snapshots, so neither matches the live page, which changes every hour. And the walk-through is tidier than a real read. I lingered, scrolled back and forth and changed my mind, and none of that is reproduced. One more section, the raw record, is left out on both sides because it names infrastructure that is not mine to show.
